Biography

Senior veteran ready to fill starting role at first base for the fourth consecutive year … Left-handed slugger capable of producing plenty of offense for the Bronchos and is looking to finish with a flourish … Also an excellent defender … Has played in 159 games with 151 starts at UCO and ranks eighth in career average at .359 … Also has 29 doubles, 17 home runs and 98 runs batted in … Has been a consistent, clutch hitter throughout her career.

2018:  Overcame slow start to finish with .312 average while adding five doubles, one homer and 15 RBI in earning honorable mention All-MIAA honors … Played in 46 games with 45 starts, 40 of those coming at first and the other five at designated player … Had 10 multi-hit games … Dominated in road doubleheader sweep of Southwestern Oklahoma, going 5-for-8 with two doubles, one homer and seven RBI … Was hitting just .207 after 11 games, but batted .344 the rest of the way … Hit robust .452 (14-for-31) when leading off an inning … Ten of 15 RBI came with two outs … Finished the season strong, batting .421 (8-for-19) in seven MIAA Tournament games.

2017:  Started all 59 games, including 44 at first base, and was a second-team All-MIAA pick after hitting .371 with 14 doubles, 10 homers and 47 RBI … Was second in the league in slugging percentage (.641) while also ranking fourth in on-base percentage (.452), fourth in RBI, sixth in average and homers, tied for seventh in doubles, ninth in hits (63) and 10th in walks (23) … Had 17 multi-hit and 11 multi-RBI outings … Had a sizzling .512 average (22-for-43) when leading off an inning … Was a big-time clutch hitter for the Bronchos, batting .443 (27-for-61) and driving in 26 runs with two outs … Went 2-for-2 with two homers and four RBI in win over Upper Iowa . . . Belted three-run homer and added RBI walk in first-round Central Regional win over Pittsburg State … Had stellar .997 fielding percentage with only one error in 316 chances, tied for fifth on UCO’s list for least errors in a season.

2016:  Had the second-best average on the team at .386 and was named MIAA Freshman of the Year … Collected 10 doubles, six homers, five triples and 36 RBI to earn second-team All-MIAA acclaim and was also a second-team All-Central Region pick by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association … Played in 54 games with 47 starts, 42 of those coming at first base … Drew school-record 37 walks in finishing with .522 on-base percentage that ranked second in the league and 21st nationally … Had 15 multi-hit and 10 multi-RBI games … Went 2-for-2 with a double, homer and four RBI in win over SWOSU … Finished with a .990 fielding percentage, making just three errors in 296 chances.
 
High School:  Played shortstop at Inola High School, earning All-Conference honors four straight years and claiming Hitter of the Year accolades as a senior … Also an All-Region and All-State pick her final season … State qualifier in cross country and track as well as an All-Conference performer in basketball for the Longhorns.
 
Personal:  Kinesiology major looking to become a physical therapist … Class valedictorian at IHS … Names “Warrior” as her favorite sports movie … Lists Drake as her top musician . . . Birthdate is June 7, 1997.
