Biography

Veteran presence for the Bronchos who is a former MIAA Freshman of the Year and a two-time MIAA Champion ... Like his fellow seniors, has lowered his scoring average since joining Central and is looking to do the same in his final season.

2016-17: Played in at 12 tournaments for the Bronchos as a junior, playing 33 rounds ... Averaged 75.09 per round, his best season yet at Central ... Had two top-25 showings in the fall, tying for fourth at Nebraska-Kearney with a 147 and finishing 22nd at the Northeastern State Classic with a three-round 216 ... Improved in the spring with three top-20 finishes ... Finished 16th at the Broncho Invitational at Gaillardia in Oklahoma City, finished 19th at the Fort Hays State Tiger Classic and then 12th at the MIAA Championship in Kansas City, where he helped the Bronchos to claim the title ... Best round was a 69 (twice) ... Earned Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honors.


2015-16: Played in eight tournaments and had a 77.8 average for 19 rounds ... Best showing was a 14th-place tie in the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational with a 224 total … Best round was also in the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational when he shot a second round 68.

2014-15: Was named Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Freshman of the Year after finishing with a 77.46 average in 10 tournaments ... Captured individual title in second-ever college tournament at the NSU Golf Classic, winning with a par on the first playoff hole after finishing with three-round total of one-over 214  ... Had two other top-15 showings, tying for 13th in the Washburn Invitational with a three-round 223 total and tying for 15th in the Lincoln Invitational behind a second-round 72 ... Shot 73 or better six times.

High School: Prep star at Fort Gibson High School ... Captured conference and regional titles before finishing as state runner-up as a senior ... Earned Tulsa World All-Metro and All-State honors last year.

Personal:  Undecided on a major . . . Older brother (Brandon) played golf and baseball at Nicholls State . . . Names the Dallas Cowboys as his favorite professional team . . . Lists "Rocky" as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Aug. 31, 1995.
