Biography

Senior veteran and the team's most experienced wrester ... Started most of his freshman season at 141 pounds and then sat out a redshirt year before filling top spot at 149 the past two seasons ... Tough, physical grappler capable of scoring plenty of points for the Bronchos and is primed to finish his career in style ... Has 70 career wins to his credit, earning bonus points in 29 of those.

2017-18:  Enjoyed fine junior campaign, finishing second on the team in wins in finishing 32-14 with 10 bonus-point victories ... Put together 13-match winning streak during one stretch ... Captured Jet Invitational title in dominating fashion, going 5-0 with four bonus wins ... Went 5-1 in placing third at the rugged Midwest Classic, pulling out three one-point wins and an overtime victory ... Finished fourth in the MIAA Championships ... Opened NCAA Division II West Regional with a win, but then lost two straight.

2016-17:  Put together a 24-21 season with 15 bonus-point wins ... Tied for second on the team with 12 falls in addition to having two major decisions and one technical fall ... Placed third in the Jet Invitational with a trio of falls and also came in third in the MIAA Championships ... Went 1-2 at the NCAA Division II West Regional.

2015-16: Competing in four open tournaments while sitting out redshirt year ... Placed fourth at both the Oklahoma City and Fort Hays State opens ... Had a 14-8 record in those four events.

2014-15:  Started most of the season as a rookie, finishing 14-16 with three falls ... Placed third in the UNK Open, going 5-1 in that event ... Lost two tough decisions at the NCAA Division II West Regional.

High School:  Became a rare four-time Oklahoma state champion at Collinsville High School and earned All-State recognition as a senior  ... Won Class 5A title at four different weights and finished with a 131-23 career record.

Personal:  Business major ... Older sister (Morgan) played soccer at Cowley County Community College ... Enjoys hunting as a hobby ... Names “Rocky” as his favorite sports movie ... Birthdate is Nov. 4, 1995.
