Biography

Senior veteran who excels in both blocking for a potent run game and is a threat to catch the ball in the Broncho air assault ... Has 49 career receptions in three seasons of action ... Had to play as a freshman when redshirt was in the plans but has been ready ever since ... Gives UCO much needed depth in the passing attack.

2016: Played in all 11 games for the Bronchos as a junior and made nine starts ... Hauled in 11 passes for 130 yards and one touchdown ... Season-high three receptions against Northeastern State and scored the game-winning touchdown in a 17-14 decision that kept the President's Cup in Edmond for a third consecutive year.

2015: Had 12 receptions for 104 yards while playing in all 12 games with 10 starts ... Had a pair of three-catch games and had season-high 39 yards on two grabs against Missouri Western ... Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2014: Was a redshirt candidate and didn’t play the first four games before taking over starting role in the fifth game and stayed there the rest of the season ... Finished fourth on the team in receptions (26) and yards (302) ... Had just one catch for four yards in his first two games before hauling in 25 aerials for 298 yards in the final six, making three-plus receptions in each contest ... Had season highs for catches (seven) and yards (60) in road rout of Lindenwood ... Lone touchdown catch was seven-yarder in win over Washburn.

High School: All-District and All-Region performer at Heath High School ... Also lettered in baseball, basketball and track.

Personal: Industrial safety major ... Older brother (Austin) was a graduate assistant coach for the Bronchos in 2014 and ’15 ... Names the New England Patriots as his favorite team ... Lists the Turnpike Troubadours as his top musical group ... Birthdate is Aug. 17, 1995.
