Biography

Senior veteran coming off a redshirt year who is expected to take over starting berth at safety . . . Has the experience and talent to  make a big impact, with the Bronchos looking for major contributions from this proven performer . . . Sat out last season after coming to UCO following record-setting three-year career at near-by Southern Nazarene.
 
SNU:  Three-year standout for the Crimson Storm, setting career records for interceptions (16) and interception return yards (217) . . . First-team All-Central States Football League choice as a freshman in 2010 after recording 99 tackles -- including a school-record 59 unassisted stops -- and tying a school mark with eight interceptions . . . Had 66 tackles with five interceptions in 2011 as a repeat first-team All-CSFL pick, returning two interceptions for touchdowns . . . Made 72 tackles as a junior in 2012 while also picking off three passes and recovering two fumbles, returning one of those 75 yards for a TD.
 
High School:  Prep standout at El Reno High School, finishing career with 187 tackles and 16 interceptions . . . District 5A-2 Defensive Back of the Year and a Class 5A All-Star as a senior.
 
Personal:  General studies major . . . Names the Tampa Bay Bucs as his top professional team . . . Father (Marion) played football at UCO and an older brother (Michael) at North Texas . . . Lists ”The Program” as his favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is Oct. 16, 1991.
