Biography

Senior standout set to continue his role as a defensive ringleader for the Bronchos . . . Ranks among the elite linemen in the conference and NCAA Division II, with this proven veteran looking to be even more of a disruptive force in 2015 . . . Has the size, strength and experience to dominate on the defensive front . . . Enters his final season ranked fifth on UCO’s career sacks list with 19, needing 10 to tie the record.
 
2014:  Was a second-team All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association pick and third-team All-America choice by Football Gazette after making 38 tackles with 10.5 for loss, including 7.5 sacks . . . Ranked second in the league in sacks and 10th in tackles for loss . . . Had 2.0 sacks for minus-15 yards against Emporia State, Central Missouri and Lindenwood while making a solo sack for minus-11 yards against Northeastern State and a half-sack for minus-two yards against Washburn . . . Made season-high seven tackles in wins over NSU and Lindenwood.
 
2013:  Earned second-team All-MIAA honors after leading the conference in tackles for loss (17.5) and sacks (9.5), ranking 13th in NCAA Division II in both . . . Sack total is the fourth-best in school history . . . Finished third on the team in total tackles with 54, including 25 solo stops . . . Had at least five tackles in five games, topped by career-high 14-tackle effort in win over Lincoln . . . Racked up 5.0 tackles for loss with two solo sacks and a fumble recovery in that contest to earn MIAA Defensive Player of the Week honors . . . Made five tackles with three sacks and a forced fumble in win over Southwest Baptist and had two sacks in five-tackle game against Northeastern State . . . Also had 1.5 sacks against Central Missouri and half-sacks against Pittsburg State and Missouri Western . . . Collected eight tackles with 2.0 for loss against Missouri Southern.
 
2012:  Played in all 10 games with two starts and finished with 30 total tackles . . . Had 6.5 tackles for loss, including 2.0 sacks . . . Had five tackles with one for loss and a forced fumble in first-ever game against Missouri Southern . . . Also had five-tackle outings against Northwest Missouri and Northeastern State . . . Collected sacks in back-to-back games against defending national champion Pittsburg State and Emporia State.

High School:  Prep standout at Perkins-Tryon High School . . . District and Area Defensive Player of the Year as a senior after racking up 143 tackles with five sacks and five interceptions . . . Also earned All-Conference honors in basketball and lettered in track.
