Biography

One of the elite players in the country and will be the focal point of the offensive attack for the fourth straight year . . . Multi-talented running back who can virtually do it all and there’s no question this senior star will be a top contender for the Harlon Hill Trophy that goes to the Division II Player of the Year . . . Elusive speedster with quick feet and a legitimate threat to score every time he touches the ball . . . Will get plenty of opportunities as the top ball carrier in addition to being an excellent receiver and will also be used on kickoff returns . . . Already owns school career records for all-purpose yards (4,629) and touchdown runs of 50-plus yards (eight) while ranking second in points scored (264), third in receptions (126) and fifth in rushing yards (3,205) . . . Needs 37 points, 48 catches and  1,156 rushing yards to claim those all-time marks . . . Started college career at Wyoming in 2008, but didn’t play there and sat out a redshirt year after transferring to UCO.
 
2012:  First-team All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association selection and a second-team Daktronics All-Region Three pick . . . Had the second-best single-season all-purpose total in school history with 1,768 yards, averaging 7.7 yards per play . . .  Rushed for 1,073 and 13 touchdowns on 188 carries (5.7/carry) while adding 27 receptions for 271 yards (10.0/catch) and one TD and 15 kickoff returns for 424 yards (28.3/return) and one score . . . Was a two-time MIAA Offensive Player of the Week choice . . . Had one of the most memorable games in school history against Lincoln, racking up school-record 395 all-purpose yards and scoring five TDs in a 56-25 victory . . . Rushed for 272 yards -- the second-best performance at UCO -- on just 20 carries with scoring runs of five, 10, 57 and 65 yards while adding an 83-yard kickoff return for a TD and three receptions for 40 yards . . . Had three other 100-yard rushing games -- 29-171 vs. Southwest Baptist, 22-137 vs. Washburn and 19-122 vs. defending national champion Pittsburg State.
 
2011:  Had a stellar sophomore season, racking up 882 rushing yards in 174 tries (5.1/carry) with seven touchdowns while adding 50 catches -- seventh-most in school history -- for 334 yards and a score . . . Also completed 4-of-5 passes for 19 yards and a TD out of the wildcat formation . . . Had a dominating performance in 41-21 Homecoming win over East Central, rushing for 233 yards in just 20 attempts with a 74-yard score and adding 43 yards on five receptions . . . The 276 all-purpose yards is the fourth-best performance at UCO, while the 233 rushing yards ranks seventh . . . Had 27 carries for 142 yards and three TDs (one, two and 34 yards) in win over Black Hills State . . . Also had 100-yard outings against Southeastern Oklahoma (9-123 with a 73-yard TD) and Fort Hays State (15-133) . . . Tossed two-yard scoring pass against Cal Poly . . . Caught career-high eight passes for 55 yards at North Alabama.
 
2010:  Made a sensational debut as a redshirt freshman and was one of 24 candidates nominated for the Harlon Hill Trophy in addition to earning second-team All-America honors by Daktronics, Inc. . . . Claimed first-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division accolades and was also the North Division Freshman of the Year . . . Rushed for 1,250 yards and 18 touchdowns on 243 carries while also catching a team-high 49 passes for 384 yards and three more TDs . . . Finished in the top 10 in five UCO single-season statistical categories -- third in all-purpose yards (1,645), third in both touchdowns (21) and points (126), eighth in rushing yards and ninth in receptions . . . Led the LSC and ranked third in the Division II scoring race, averaging 11.45 points a game . . . Was second in the LSC in both rushing and all-purpose yards, finishing 17th nationally in rushing (113.6 yards/game) and 20th in all-purpose (149.5 yards/game) . . . Set a school single-season record for TD runs of 50-plus yards with four, ripping off scoring sprints of 58, 60, 66 and 81 yards . . . Rushed for 100-plus yards in six of 11 games, starting with a 15-carry, 111-yard outing in his collegiate debut against Pittsburg State while adding seven catches for 63 yards and a TD . . . Had at least two TDs in nine straight games, collecting four scores against Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Racked up 205 yards on 21 carries with scoring runs of 12, 60 and 66 yards against SOSU in addition to catching a 33-yard TD pass . . . Went for 183 yards in just 18 tries with an 81-yard TD jaunt against Midwestern State . . . Other 100-yard games came against Eastern New Mexico (26-148), Northeastern State (24-102) and Southwestern Oklahoma (24-102) . . . Caught at least two passes in all 11 games.
 
High School:  Enjoyed a brilliant career at Luther High School, rushing for more than 5,000 yards and earning All-State honors as a senior . . . Two-time 100-meter dash state champion in addition to winning a state long jump title and was also an All-Conference performer in basketball.
 
Personal:  Physical education major looking for a career as a high school football coach . . . Enjoys fishing as a hobby and can play the saxophone . . . Lists ‘‘Space Jam” as his favorite sports movie . . . Nickname is Juice . . . Has five siblings, including an older brother (Ben) who was a running back for the Bronchos from 2007-09 . . . Birthdate is March 11, 1989.
