Biography

Three-year starter and proven senior leader looking to rebound from a major knee injury . . . Missed the final six games last year after suffering torn ACL and sat out fall practice, but is expected to be at full speed this spring . . . Outstanding defender in left field who became a major offensive weapon last season and is ready to end her career in style . . . Speedy senior capable of covering plenty of territory in the field and a switch-hitting slap hitter with great bunting ability . . . Has played in 163 games with 155 starts and ranks eighth on UCO’s career steals list with 36 . . . Put together an 89-game error-less streak during the 2013 and ’14 seasons.
 
2014:  Started the first 52 games in left field before suffering knee injury stepping on first base bag running out a hit against Missouri Western . . . Batted .353 with five doubles, 27 runs batted in and 11 stolen bases in earning second-team All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association honors . . . Had 17 multi-hit games, including four straight during one stretch, and drove in two-plus runs eight times . . . Put together four hitting streaks of five-plus games and hit safely in her final six games of the season . . . Also an MIAA Scholar-Athlete selection.
 
2013:  Honorable mention All-MIAA choice after hitting .290 with 17 stolen bases and 16 RBI . . . Made all 58 starts in left field and didn’t commit an error in 77 chances . . . Had 12 multi-hit games, capped by a pair of three-hit outings . . . Put together seven- and 10-game hitting streaks . . . Swiped three bases in win over Central Missouri . . . Batted .280 (7-for-25) in nine post-season games to help UCO capture its first-ever national title . . . Had a pair of two-hit games during the Division II World Series, scoring three runs in those two contests.
 
2012:  Played in 50 games with 45 starts -- all in left field -- and batted .306 with 22 RBI . . . Hit .364 (12-for-33) in 11 post-season games with two doubles and six RBI while also providing several highlight-type catches in the field . . . Earned all-tournament honors in the Division II World Series after batting .417 (5-for-12) in four games . . . Had just a .147 average (5-for-34) after 13 games, but hit .360 (36-for-100) the rest of the way . . . Produced seven multi-hit games, capped by a 3-for-4, four-RBI outing in Super Regional finals win over Angelo State . . . Was a National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete pick.
 
High School:  Helped lead Broken Arrow High School to a pair of state titles, earning All-Conference and All-State honors as a senior.
 
Personal:  Biology major looking to become a physician’s assistant . . . Names the Oklahoma City Thunder as her top sports team . . . Birthdate is April 11, 1993.
