Biography

Senior star and team captain who ranks as one of the elite players in NCAA Division II . . . Started in right field as a freshman before taking over in center the next year and has been there ever since . . . Offensive catalyst at the top of the batting order and makes the Bronchos go with her ability to get on base and make things happen . . . Left-handed slap hitter and an outstanding bunter with blazing speed . . . Is a threat to steal every time she reaches base and also makes plenty of plays in the field with her range . . . Has played in 174 games with 171 starts the past three years and already ranks as one of UCO’s all-time best players . . .  Holds career school records for runs scored (155) and stolen bases (96) while ranking second in hits (217), third in at bats (576) and third in average (.377) . . . Needs 52 hits and 101 at bats to break those career marks.
 
2014:  Put together superb junior campaign in earning a multitude of post-season honors . . . Batted .372 while stealing school-record 40 bases in 41 tries, which led the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and ranked 15th in Division II . . . Was a first-team All-MIAA selection and earned first-team All-Central Region accolades from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and second-team All-Central Region honors from Daktronics . . . Ranked second in the conference in hits (80) and third in runs (59) and finished in the top three in four single-season categories at UCO – at bats (second with 215), hits (third), runs (third) and triples (third with six) . . . Was the starting center fielder and lead-off hitter in all 58 games . . . Had a team-high 26 multi-hit games, including eight with three or more . . . Scored two-plus runs 15 times and swiped two or more bases in 10 games . . . Put together  four hitting streaks of at least five games . . . Also claimed second-team recognition on the Capital One Academic All-America Team and was an MIAA Scholar-Athlete.
 
2013:  Played in 61 games with 58 starts and batted .405 with 31 steals, which ranks third on the school’s single-season  chart . . . Earned second-team All-MIAA honors . . . Played a huge role in UCO’s drive to the national championship, hitting a sizzling .733 (11-for-15) with seven runs and five RBI in four Division II World Series games to claim all-tournament accolades . . . Had a tie-breaking two-run triple in 5-2 first-round win over Armstrong Atlantic, went 3-for-4 in 7-1 win over Molloy, scored four runs while going 4-for-4 at the plate in 14-1 semifinal rout of Armstrong and went 3-for-4 in 5-2 finals victory over Kutztown . . . Had a .552 average (16-for-29) with 12 runs in nine post-season games . . . Had 18 multi-hit games for the season, including a pair of four-hit outings . . . Put together a 13-game hitting streak during the season . . . Stole two-plus bases in six games.
 
2012:  Started all 55 games and hit .360 with 25 steals . . . Ended up third in at bats (203), fifth in stolen bases (25), sixth in runs (55), and eighth in hits (73) on UCO’s single-season record list . . . Was a first-team All-Independents Collegiate Athletic Association selection and an NFCA Scholar-Athlete . . . Had 22 multi-hit games . . . Put together a pair of 11-game hitting streaks and had six straight multi-hit games during one stretch.
 
High School:  Softball-track standout at Tuttle High School, earning Oklahoman Little All-City and All-State recognition in both sports as a senior . . . State champion in the 300-meter hurdles and runner-up in both the 100 hurdles and 1,600 relay.
 
Personal:  Kinesiology major. . . Enjoys country dancing in her spare time . . . Names the Oklahoma City Thunder as her favorite team . . . Birthdate is Sept. 12, 1992.
