Biography

Senior veteran and three-year letterman set to see action at running back after spending the last three years on defense . . . Made 64 career tackles at safety and linebacker the past three seasons, playing in all 33 games with four starts . . . Good athlete ready to do whatever needed to help the team and should earn plenty of time on the field.

2011:  Made one start while playing in every game and finished with 22 tackles, including 1.5 for loss . . . Had five-tackle outings against both North Alabama and Fort Hays State and recovered fumble in win over Black Hills State.

2010:  Played in all 11 games with three starts, finishing with 30 tackles . . . Had eight-tackle outings against Eastern New Mexico and Southwestern Oklahoma while making seven stops vs. Texas A&M-Commerce.

2009:  Saw action in all 11 games and finished with 12 total tackles while also blocking a kick and recovering a fumble . . . Made two solo tackles and blocked a punt that resulted in a safety for UCO in a big 24-17 upset of West Texas A&M, earning Lone Star Conference North Division Special Teams Player of the Week honors for his efforts . . . Had two solo stops and a fumble recovery against Southwest Baptist.

2008: Redshirted.

High School:  Two-way standout at Western Heights High School, earning All-District recognition at defensive back and Class 5A All-Star honors at running back as a senior . . . Had more than 1,100 yards rushing and receiving while also making 81 tackles and intercepting four passes in his final season to help the Jets to the state playoffs . . . Also a state power-lifting champion.

Personal: A psychology major and member of President's Leadership Council . . . Names the St. Louis Rams as his top professional team . . . Lists "Remember the Titans" as his favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is March 7, 1989.
