Biography

Two-year letterman and senior veteran who should contend for the starting spot at 174 pounds . . . Could also be used at 165 and will get plenty of mat time this season . . . Has the talent and experience to really help the Bronchos . . . Transferred to UCO from Division I Central Michigan.
 
2012-13:  Wrestled in three tournaments and three duals at 165, going 9-7 with a fall and major decision . . . Finished fourth in the season-opening Oklahoma City Open . . . Went 2-1 in duals.
 
2011-12:  Finished 11-11 while seeing action in four open tournaments and three duals . . . Had 7-7 record at 184 before dropping to 174 late in the season and went 4-4 there . . . Was runner-up in the Missouri Valley Open at 174 . . . Also placed sixth in the amateur bracket of the Loper Open at 184.
 
UCM:  Spent two years with the Chippewas, redshirting one season.
 
High School:  Football-wrestling standout at Carl Albert High School . . . Three-time state placer on the mat, finishing runner-up as a junior before capping 33-1 senior season with a state championship . . . Four-year starter on the gridiron, helping lead the Titans to one state title.
 
Personal:  Kinesiology major looking to become a physical therapist . . . Enjoys water sports among his hobbies . . . Names the Oklahoma City Thunder as his favorite professional team . . . Birthdate is April 12, 1991.
