Biography
Junior standout who ranks among the top players in NCAA Division II . . . Transferred to UCO last year and had an immediate impact en route to helping lead the Bronchos to the best season in school history . . . Splendid all-around player who should contend for medalist honors in every tournament he plays . . . Came to UCO lafter spending two years at Colorado.
Fall 2012: Enjoyed a splendid fall campaign, finishing with a 71.6 average with top-seven finishes in four of UCO's five tournaments while finishing under-par in three events . . . Opened the season with a runner-up showing at the Charles Coody Invitational, shooting back-to-back 68s for a six-under 136 total and tied for second at the Northeastern State Classic at four-under 209 with rounds of 71-68-70 . . . Came in sixth at the at the Lion Fall Invitational at three-under 141 (71-70) and tied for seventh at the Dornick Hills Classic with a 220 total . . . Lowest finish was an 18th-place tie at the Regional Preview.
2010-11: Put together a fantastic year in earning first-team All-Lone Star Conference and second-team All-America recognition . . . Ended with a fabulous 71.9 stroke average for 12 tournaments and 34 rounds, shooting 10 rounds in the 60s . . . Finished in the top 15 in 10 tournaments with five top-five showings . . . Shot 66-72 for a four-under 138 total in earning co-medalist honors at the NSU Golf Classic and repeated that the next week at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate with a blistering 11-under 202 total after rounds of 66-67-69 . . . Shot the lowest round of the year in Division II with a seven-under 63 in the final round of the UCO/KickingBird Classic -- one shot off the course record -- in rallying for a third-place finish there . . . Also finished third in the West Texas A&M Invitational at three-under 210 (72-69-69) and tied for fifth at the St. Mary's Classic at one-over 217 (73-71-73) . . . Had a final-round 69 in the LSC Tournament to help the Bronchos rally for that team title . . . Captured the Oklahoma Golf Association Stroke Play Championship in July 2010 with a 10-under-par 206 total at Quail Creek Golf and Country Club after rounds of 72-65-69.
CU: Redshirted in 2008-09 and then played in two fall tournaments for the Buffaloes last year, shooting identical 75-77=152 scores to place seventh in the Colorado State Individual and tie for 28th in the Colorado Mines-Regis Invitational.
High School: Was a three-time All-State performer at Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyo., leading the team to four straight state titles . . . Finished second in the state meet as a senior and had a 71.3 scoring average.
Personal: A business major . . . Names the Green Bay Packers as his favorite sports team . . . Lists "Happy Gilmore" as his favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is March 2, 1990.
