Biography

Junior college transfer looking to contend for the starting berth at third base this spring . . . Didn’t join the team until the semester break, but is a fine all-around player with good offensive skills who has a chance to make an impact.

Juco:  Played two years at San Joaquin Delta College (Calif.) . . . Helped the team to a 33-10 record last year, hitting .295 with seven doubles, five home runs, two triples, 29 runs scored and 25 runs batted in.

High School:  Prep star at A.A. Stagg High School in Stockton, Calif., earning Female Athlete of the Year honors as a senior . . . All-Area and All-League selection her final season after hitting .528 with 10 homers, 38 runs and 43 RBI . . . Also lettered in basketball, soccer and tennis.

Personal:  A sociology major with hopes of becoming a fire fighter . . . Names “Rudy” as her favorite sports movie . . . Lists the New York Yankees as her top professional team . . . Birthdate is Aug. 11, 1989.
