Biography

Hard-hitting senior transfer expected to come in and provide immediate offensive help . . . Powerful hitter who is a threat to send the ball out of the park every time she steps to the plate and should be a prime run producer this season . . . Was a two-year standout at Seminole State College before spending last season at Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Off-season shoulder surgery may keep her out of the field, but will probably be the main designated player and is a constant offensive threat.

Juco/SWOSU:  First-team NJCAA All-Region and All-America pick as a freshman at Seminole after hitting .381 with 24 doubles, 16 home runs and a nation-leading 94 runs batted in . . . Hit .381 with nine homers and 28 RBI during injury-plagued sophomore year at Seminole . . . Batted .266 with nine homers and 26 RBI for the Bulldogs last season.

High School:  All-District, All-Conference, Oklahoman Big All-City and an Alternate All-Stater as a senior at Choctaw High School . . . Also lettered three years in basketball.

Personal:  A kinesiology major . . . Father (Bryan) played basketball at Oklahoma Christian . . . Lists the New York Yankees as her top professional team . . . Enjoys drawing as a hobby . . . Birthdate is Dec. 1, 1988.
