Biography

Senior stalwart ready to roam in center field once again . . . Has started every game (101) the past two years at that position and is a defensive standout, possessing a strong arm and great range in the field . . . Speedy left-handed hitter who became more of an offensive threat last year and that should continue this season . . . Team leader looking to finish her career with a flourish . . . Spent one year at Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa before coming to UCO.

2011:  Was a second-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division selection after batting .320 with 10 doubles, four home runs, 20 runs batted in and a team-high 11 stolen bases . . . Made just one error in 67 chances in finishing with a .985 fielding percentage . . . Had 11 multi-hit games and four multi-RBI outings, highlighted by a 4-for-4, three-RBI performance in 5-1 win over East Central . . . Was an all-tournament pick at the LSC Crossover Tournament after hitting .364 (8-for-22) with two doubles and six RBI . . . Had three hitting streaks of at least five games, with a long of eight straight.

2010:  Stepped into a starting role from the outset and started all 53 games . . . Hit .225 with eight doubles, three homers and 17 RBI . . . Finished with 178 at bats, which ranks third on UCO’s single-season record list . . . Had eight multi-hit games, including a pair of 3-for-3 outings . . . Made just three fielding miscues in 76 chances and ended the season with a 34-game error-less streak.

Juco:  Played the 2009 season at Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa.

High School:  Four-year starter at Choctaw High School, hitting over .400 every season . . . Four-time All-District selection, earning conference MVP and All-State honors as a senior . . . Also lettered in basketball.

Personal:  A criminal justice major looking to become a probation officer . . . Names the New York Yankees as her top professional team . . . Collects pennies as a hobby . . . Lists "Benchwarmers" as her favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is March 25, 1990.
