Returning starter and national qualifier who will probably move up a weight this season . . . Made it to nationals at 141 pounds last year, but is the front-runner to take over at 149 and has the size and strength to handle the bigger weight . . . Battled some injury problems last year, but appears healthy now and the Bronchos are looking for plenty of point production from this talented junior . . . Transferred to UCO after spending two years at Division I North Carolina.

2010-11:  Missed extended time with injuries, but ended up 15-9 with nine bonus-point wins and earned a national tournament berth with a fourth-place finish in the Super Regional II Tournament . . . Opened the regional with two close wins to make the semifinals before losing a wild 13-10 decision to eventual national champion Mario Morgan of Nebraska-Omaha . . . Came back with an 11-3 major decision in the consolation semifinals before losing in the third-place match . . . Lost two straight matches to eventual All-Americans at the national tournament.

UNC:  Spent two years with the Tar Heels, redshirting in 2008-09 before seeing limited action the following year . . . Went 3-5 while seeing time at three different weights (133, 141 and 149) . . . Competed in one open tournament during redshirt year, going 3-2 with a fall at the Wolfpack Open.

High School:  Four-year standout at Stillwater High School, racking up a 129-12 career record . . . Four-time state placer, winning a state title as a senior en route to earning All-State honors . . . Also played baseball and football for the Pioneers.

Personal:  A political science major . . . Father (Phillip) wrestled at Nebraska in the 1980s . . . Married (Jessica) and has a infant daughter (Collyn Rae) . . . Birthdate is July 27, 1989.
