Senior veteran expected to contend for a full-time starting berth this year . . . Two-year letterman who has seen plenty of playing time the past two years and is ready to be a main contributor in 2011-12 . . . Long-ball hitter who joined the team lin 2010 after sitting out a couple of years.
2011-12: Played in seven tournaments, finishing wtih a 76.7 average for 18 rounds . . . Had a trio of top-30 finishes, led by a 25th-place showing at the UCO Invitational with rounds of 78-75 . . . Also tied for 26th at the NSU Golf Classic with closing rounds of 70-71 in that 54-hole event and tied for 28th in the West Texas Intercollegiate (74-73).
2010-11: Had a 77.5 average in five tournaments and 13 rounds . . . Shot an opening-round 72 at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate and had a trio of 73s.
High School: Local product of Santa Fe High School in Edmond . . . Won three tournaments during his prep career and had a 74.0 scoring average his final two years.
