Biography
Senior standout looking to finish her career with a flourish . . . Has been a consistent force in the lineup the past three and a half years and is a fantastic all-around player capable of contending for top honors in every tournament she enters . . . Should contend for All-America honors this spring.
Fall 2013: Had a stellar fall showing with top-seven finishes in all four tournaments and a 74.5 average for eight rounds . . . Was runner-up in both the season-opening Holiday Inn Invitational and the Lady Lions Invitational while tying for seventh in the UCO Classic and Rock Barn Intercollegiate . . . Closed the UCO tourney with a one-under-par 70 to tie the low score of her career and shot a pair of 72s at the Rock Barn event . . . Had the third-best scoring average in the Central Region and the 24th-best in NCAA Division II.
2012-13: Finished in the top-25 in 11 of 12 tournaments and ended with a 77.4 average for 26 rounds . . . Shot in the 70s 19 times, highlighted by a career-best two-under-70 during runner-up finish at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate . . . Had six top-10 showings for the year . . . Tied for third in both the Green and Gold Spring Shootout and Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association tournaments to help the Bronchos win both team titles and was a first-team All-MIAA selection . . . Finished sixth int he Armstrong Pirate Invitational after a final-round 72 and was 10th in both the UCO Classic and the NCAA Division II Central Regional Tournament . . . Came in a team-best 34th at the NCAA Division II Championships . . . Earned All-America Scholar honors from the WGCA for the third straight year.
2011-12: Put together a splendid sophomore season in finishing with a 77.6 average and was named to the All-Super Region Four Team by the National Golf Coaches Association . . . Placed in the top 20 in 10 of 12 tournaments and had six top-10 showings, including a string of four straight top-fives during the spring . . . Captured first collegiate title at the Midwestern State Invitational in the spring with an even-par 72 in that rain-shortened event . . . Followed that with a fourth at the Missouri Western Invitational at 162 (78-84), tied for third the next week at the Sonoma State Women's Spring Invitational at 153 (78-75) and ended the four-tournament string with a fourth-place tie in the Division II Super Regional Four Tournament at 222, thanks to a career-low 68 in the middle of that three-round event . . . Came in fifth in the season-opening Southwest Classic with rounds of 72-78 and followed that with an eighth-place finish at the Lady Buff Stampede at 152 (77-75) . . . Tied for 16th in the Division II national tournament, opening with a 76 and closing with a 78 . . . Was an WGCA All-America Scholar honoree.
2010-11: Stepped into a starting role in her first collegiate tournament and ended the year with a solid 79.4 average . . . Played in all 11 tournaments and placed in the top 30 in eight of them with three top-10 showings . . . Shot in the 70s in 15 of her 25 rounds, highlighted by a one-under-par 71 in the first round of the Dallas Baptist Classic en route to a 20th-place finish there . . . Best showing was an eighth-place tie in the UCO/Mahogany Classic with a 147 total after rounds of 73-74 . . . Tied for 10th at the Midwestern State Invitational at 155 (78-77) . . . Was named a WGCA All-America Scholar.
High School: Two-sport standout at Clinton High School, earning All-State honors in both golf and basketball . . . Enjoyed a phenomenal career on the links, winning two state titles and finishing runner-up twice while leading the Red Tornadoes to a pair of team titles . . . Was also a three-time national “Big I” qualifier . . . Led basketball team to the state tournament as a senior.
