Biography
Senior standout looking to bounce back from an injury-plagued junior season . . . Was one of the top runners in the Lone Star Conference and NCAA Division II South Central Region in 2008 and got off to a good start last year before suffering injury problems . . . Is back to full speed now and should once again be a top threat in any race she enters . . . Transferred to UCO from Oklahoma State in 2008.
2009: Came in third in the season-opening UCO Land Run and was 15th the following week at the Friends Invitational before being slowed by a foot injury . . . Missed two of the next three meets before coming back to run at less than full speed in the conference and regional races.
2008: Had four top-eight finishes and won her first-ever meet with the Bronchos, capturing the UCO Land Run by 10 seconds . . . Came in third at the OBU Invitational and was eighth at the Cowboy Jamboree . . . Earned All-LSC acclaim with a sixth-place effort at the league meet and was an All-South Central Regional pick after coming in 13th in that race.
OSU: Started most of the year for the Cowgirls in 2007 . . . Finished 39th in the Cowboy Jamboree and was 65th in the Big 12 Championships.
High School: Ran on the Romanian junior national cross country team in 2006 and '07, placing third in the national meet one year.
Personal: A journalism major . . . Enjoys writing poems as a hobby . . . Birthdate is Jan. 2, 1988.
