Biography

Junior play-maker and one of the elite receivers in the Lone Star Conference . . . Followed a solid freshman season in 2008 with a breakthrough sophomore campaign last year and will definitely be one of the top targets in UCO’s wide-open attack . . . Fleet-footed veteran who is a threat to score every time he touches the ball . . . Has 69 catches for 1,017 yards in his two-year career, needing 14 receptions and 338 yards to make the top-10 on those all-time UCO lists.

2009:  Picked up second-team All-LSC North Division recognition after catching 45 passes -- the 10th-most receptions in UCO history -- for 640 yards and six touchdowns . . . Averaged 14.2 yards a catch and had TD grabs of 10, 12, 20, 22, 25 and 80 yards, with the 80-yarder tied for the 10th-longest in school history . . . Caught at least one pass in all 11 games and had three-plus receptions in nine contests . . . Had a six-catch, 142-yard outing at Southeastern Oklahoma with scoring grabs of 25 and 80 yards . . . Also went over the 100-yard mark with a seven-catch, 113-yard day against Pittsburg State . . . Other TD receptions came against Texas A&M-Commerce, Southwestern Oklahoma, Midwestern State and Northeastern State.

2008:  Averaged a team-best 15.7 yards a catch with 24 receptions for 377 yards and two TDs in seven games . . . Caught 15 passes for 212 yards in the first three games before sitting out four straight contests with a foot injury and was limited upon his return . . . Had season highs for catches (seven) and yards (97) against Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Tulsa:  Redshirted in 2006 with the Golden Hurricane and then didn’t play the next year before transferring to UCO.

High School:  Three-year star at Blanchard High School, finishing with 130 career catches for 2,112 yards . . . Class 3A All-Star as a senior after catching 70 passes for 1,051 yards and 13 touchdowns . . . Also captured the 100-meter dash state title as a junior and was a fourth-place national finisher in the 60-meter dash in earning prep All-America recognition.

Personal:  A fitness management major . . . Has seven siblings (four brothers, three sisters) . . . Birthdate is Aug. 28, 1987.
