Biography

Junior letterman who returned to the team at the semester break and will vie for a starting spot at 141 down the stretch . . . Lettered in a back-up role in 2007-08 who has shown flashes of what he's capable of.

2007-08:  Wrestling in two open tournaments and six duals at 133 and 141 pounds, finishing 8-7 with three bonus-point wins . . . Was runner-up in the freshman-sophomore division of the Missouri Open . . . Went 2-2 in four matches at 141, highlighted by an 8-5 dual win over Nebraska-Omaha national qualifier Brim Bribieseca.

High School:  Three-year star at large-school powerhouse Ponca City High School, capturing three straight Class 5A state titles . . . Was a member of the Oklahoma national dual team.

Personal:  An education major . . . Lists Tito Ortiz as his favorite sports star . . . Enjoys hunting and fishing among his top hobbies . . . Birthdate is July 14, 1988.
