Biography
Junior standout and one of the top midfielders in the Lone Star Conference . . . Came back last year after missing the 2007 campaign with injury and started all season . . . Physical, aggressive player who excels on the defensive end while also showcasing improved offensive skills . . . Clutch player and team leader set for a banner campaign . . . Has played in every game (43) with 31 starts in her two-year career.
2008: Started in 21 of 22 games and finished with nine points, scoring four goals and adding an assist in earning second-team All-LSC recognition . . . Had game-winning goals against league rivals Northeastern State and Texas A&M-Commerce, scoring with just 33 seconds left to lift UCO to a 2-1 win over NSU and knocking in the lone goal in the 69th minute for a 1-0 triumph over the Lions . . . Lone assist came on the overtime goal that gave the Bronchos a 1-0 win over Newman . . . Other goals came against St. Mary’s and Southwestern Oklahoma.
2007: Started the first four games before suffering a knee injury and missing the rest of the season, but gained a hardship ruling to retain a year of eligibility.
2006: Appeared in all 21 games, making 10 starts . . . Played a vital role in helping UCO to its third consecutive Lone Star Conference title despite not scoring a point, providing stellar defense in the middle.
High School: Three-sport standout at Skiatook High School . . . Three-time All-District pick in soccer and an All-Stater as a senior . . . Also starred in volleyball and track.
Personal: A biology major and multiple member of the UCO Dean’s Honor Roll looking to become a pediatric nurse practitioner . . . Enjoys water skiing as her favorite hobby . . . Names the Dallas Cowboys as her top professional team . . . Birthdate is Aug. 11, 1988.
