Two-year starter who has won 64 matches the past two years as UCO's top 165-pounder, but is set to move up a weight and challenge a returning All-American for the starting berth . . . Will definitely be a factor at 174 and also has the option of going back to 165 later in the season . . . Experienced junior veteran with the talent and experience to be a mainstay at either weight if he can regain a spot in the lineup.

2010-11:  Won 30-plus matches for the second straight year, going 33-18 with 14 bonus-point wins while starting all season at 165 . . . Was the only UCO wrestler to place in all six regular-season tournaments, but went 1-2 and failed to place at the Super Regional II Tournament in failing to earn a second straight national tournament berth . . . Captured individual title at the Newman Invitational with a technical fall and two major decisions . . . Was runner-up in the Oklahoma City and Central Missouri opens while also taking third at the Fort Hays State Open, fourth at the Missouri Valley Open and sixth at the Nebraska-Omaha Open.

2009-10:  Wrestled a team-high 47 matches, going 31-16 with eight bonus-point wins . . . Placed in four tournaments, qualifying for the national meet with a runner-up showing at the regional . . . Opened that tournament with an easy 9-2 win and followed with a 3-2 tiebreaker victory in the semifinals before losing a 6-4 sudden-victory decision in the finals . . . Lost his first two matches at the national tournament . . . Overcame a first-round loss to win five straight matches  in finishing third at the season-opening Oklahoma City Open . . . Also took fifth at the Central Missouri and Nebraska-Omaha opens . . . Won eight straight matches during one second-semester stretch.

2008-09:  Wrestled in four open tournaments and put together a stellar 19-6 record . . . Was runner-up in the freshman-sophomore division of the Missouri Open and placed third in the Fort Hays State Open while  competing at 165 and took fourth at the Missouri Valley Open at 174.

High School:  Three-year state placer at Oologah High School, finishing with a 113-12 career record . . . Class 3A state runner-up as a junior and then won the title as a senior in earning All-State honors . . . Also lettered in football and track.

Personal:  A psychology major looking to become a coach . . . Names the Denver Broncos as his top professional team . . . Lists “Rocky” as his favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is Dec. 12, 1989.
