Biography

Transfer quarterback who could compete for the starting job.

NMSU:  Spent two years at New Mexico State, playing in six games as a true freshman in 2006 before redshirting last year . . . Completed 23-of-38 passes for 176 yards as a rookie . . . Came off the bench to lead the Aggies to their first Western Athletic Conference win over Utah State, hitting 6-of-9 passes for 44 yards and scoring on an eight-yard run.

High School:  Racked up 4,250 passing yards and 48 touchdowns during career at Holland Hall Prep School in Tulsa, earning honorable mention All-State honors as a senior . . . Set basketball school career records for rebounds, steals, blocks and assists.

Personal:  A business major . . . Birthdate is July 20, 1987.
