Local high school product set to be UCO’s top strong safety in 2008 . . . Came in last year as a junior college transfer and had a strong season, with the Bronchos expecting even more this fall . . . Hard-hitting senior with great speed who should be one of the top defensive backs in the Lone Star Conference.

2007: Started most of the year and was second on the team in total tackles with 49 to earn second-team All-LSC North Division recognition . . . Had a team-high three interceptions and broke up three other passes . . . LSC North Division Defensive Player of the Week in UCO’s overtime road win over Texas A&M-Commerce, intercepting two passes and breaking up another while adding two tackles . . . Made a season-high 13 stops against Eastern New Mexico and had at least four tackles in eight games . . . Other interception came in win over Southwestern Oklahoma.

Juco: Two-year starter at Arizona Western College . . . Recorded 57 tackles, two sacks and an interception as a sophomore for the Matadors.

High School: Two-sport star at Santa Fe High School in Edmond . . . Lettered in both football and track.
