Biography

Senior leader who will be in his third year as a starting linebacker for the Bronchos . . . Stellar defender coming off back-to-back 90-plus tackle seasons and is set to spearhead UCO’s defensive efforts once again . . . Seasoned veteran who plays with great energy and enthusiasm, a fiery competitor ready to end his career with a flourish.

2010: Collected a team-high 91 tackles en route to earning second-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division recognition . . . Also topped the Bronchos in tackles for loss (8.5) and sacks (3.0) while recovering two fumbles and forcing another . . . Made 10-plus tackles in five games . . . Had 12 stops with 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble and recovered fumble in season-opener against Pittsburg State . . . Made 12 tackles with 3.0 for loss against Southeastern Oklahoma, with other double-digit games coming against Eastern New Mexico (12), East Central (11) and Texas A&M-Commerce (11) . . . Was an Academic All-LSC North Division selection.
2009: Led the team with 90 tackles in picking up first-team All-LSC North Division honors . . . Had 7.0 tackles for loss with 2.5 sacks while also intercepting a pass, breaking up two others and recovering a fumble . . . Finished with 53 unassisted tackles, which ranks fifth on UCO’s single-season list . . . Had five games with 10-plus stops, capped by a 14-tackle outing against Southwest Baptist . . . Also had double figure tackles against SOSU (13), ECU (13), Northeastern State (12) and Southwestern Oklahoma (10) . . . First career interception came against Texas A&M-Commerce . . . Also earned Academic All-LSC North Division accolades.

2008: Played in nine games and finished with 16 tackles, including one sack and two PBUs . . . Made season-high four tackles against Midwestern State, including a last-minute sack that helped clinch a 38-33 upset.

High School: All-District and All-State selection as a senior at Heritage Hall High School . . . Also lettered in basketball and track for the Chargers.

Personal: A kinesiology major . . . Birthdate is March 26, 1989.
