2008-09: Wrestled in six duals -- two at 165, four at 174 -- and two tournaments, finishing 5-9 with a pair of bonus-point wins.
2007-08: Went 10-10 with four bonus-point wins as a part-time starter at 165 . . . Wrestled in three tournaments the first semester, placing fourth at the Fort Hays State Open, and competed in seven duals the second semester . . . Lifted UCO to a 23-16 home upset of Nebraska-Kearney with a stunning second-period fall.
2006-07: Participated in four open tournaments as a redshirt freshman, going 9-7 with six bonus-point wins . . . Went 4-1 with two falls in runner-up finish at the Fort Hays State Open, losing a 9-3 finals decision to eventual national champion Brett Hunter of Chadron State.
2005-06: Saw action in several open tournaments during redshirt year, winning the Oklahoma Open title at 165.
High School:? Fabulous three-sport standout at Duncan High School. . . Captured three Class 4A state titles on the mat, compiling a 126-19 career record . . . Was the state tournament Outstanding Wrestler as a junior and earned All-State honors as a senior . . . Also an honorable mention All-Stater in football and a state qualifier in the hurdles on the track for the Demons.
