KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Central Oklahoma All-American Anthony DesVigne was named MIAA Wrestler of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

DesVigne, Central's standout 174-pounder, went 2-0 this past week with a marquee victory in his first bout. The Edmond, Oklahoma native upset fourth-ranked Trenton Munoz of Nebraska Kearney 10-3 as top-ranked UCO overcame a 10-0 deficit in the dual to beat the No. 7 Lopers.

DesVigne came back the next day with a 20-4 technical fall in a 47-0 shutout of Fort Hays State that gave UCO the MIAA title for the fourth consecutive season.

DesVigne is 17-4 this season with 12 bonus-point wins. The senior grappler has 77 wins in his UCO career.

Central Oklahoma, ranked No. 1 in the country, wrapped up the regular season with this past week's results. The Bronchos went 15-0 in duals in 2023-24.

UCO is now prepping for the NCAA Super Region IV Championships in Indianapolis March 2. The top three wrestlers at each weight will advance to the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships March 15-16 in Wichita, Kansas.
