LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Central Oklahoma dropped one spot in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 announced Tuesday.
The Bronchos are ranked 12th in this week's poll. Central Oklahoma is 7-5 on the season. UCO was picked third in the NFCA Preseason Top 25, then dropped to 11th in the first poll of the season last week.
Central Oklahoma beat Southern Arkansas Sunday in Edmond. The Muleriders were ranked No. 23 in the country then, and are now No. 21 in this week's poll.
UCO is off this week. The Bronchos play next Tuesday at Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Okla. Following a trip to Springfield, Missouri March 1-2 for the Drury Classic, UCO will return to Gerry Pinkston Stadium for MIAA play against Washburn on March 8 and Emporia State March 9.
