Wrestling Reunion Set For Jan. 30

The Central Oklahoma wrestling program will hold a reunion for all former wrestlers, coaches, managers and trainers on Sunday, Jan. 30 in celebration of its 50th season of renewed competition.

Central competed from 1921-47 with a five-year break for World War II and then reinstated the sport in 1972 after a 25-year hiatus. The Bronchos have been a national power ever since, having captured 15 national championships (eight in NAIA, seven in NCAA Division II).

UCO will host Central Missouri at 2 p.m. on Jan. 30, with a reception planned for before and after the dual. The 1982, '92 and '02 national championship teams will also be recognized during an intermission.
