UCO Jumps To No. 4 In NFCA Top 25

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Central Oklahoma moved up four spots to No. 4 in the country in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25, announced Wednesday. The Bronchos received two first-place votes in the national poll.

Central Oklahoma is 20-1 on the season and 4-0 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. The Bronchos have won 16 consecutive games dating back to opening weekend.
 
The Bronchos rank ninth in the country in team batting average (.361), fourth in doubles per game (2.3), sixth in on-base percentage (.450), and third in scoring (8.3 runs per game).
 
Senior third baseman JoBi Heath leads all of NCAA Division II with 14 doubles. She's belted 60 career doubles too, which ranks second in UCO history behind former teammate and All-American, Morgan  Heard, who hit 68 doubles for the Bronchos from 2015-18.
 
UCO will return to the field this weekend, continuing MIAA play with a road trip at Lindenwood in St. Charles, Mo. on Saturday and at Lincoln in Jefferson City, Mo. on Sunday.
