Bronchos 13th In Preseason Mat Poll

FAYETTE, Iowa (Oct. 30) – Central Oklahoma is ranked No. 13 in the preseason national wrestling rankings behind a trio of top-10 individuals, according to the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches' Association poll that was released Wednesday.

UCO's three returning national tournament qualifiers were all ranked individually, with All-American Heath Gray coming in second at 184 pounds. Nate Keim is rated seventh at 141 and Devin Crawl ninth at 174.

The Bronchos finished with 27 points in the team poll. Pittsburgh-Johnstown tops the rankings with 88 points, six ahead of two-time defending national champion St. Cloud State.

UCO went 12-4 in duals and finished 16th nationally last year behind Gray's third-place showing.

The Bronchos open the 2019-20 campaign Sunday, hosting Division II rival Drury for a 4 p.m. dual at Hamilton Field House.
