EDMOND (April 26) – Three Oklahoma high school standouts have signed national letters-of-intent with Central Oklahoma, it was announced Monday by head coach Guy Hardaker.

Set to join the Bronchos for the 2010-11 season is Brittney Morgan of Pawnee High School along with Midwest City High School teammates Tarrington Oakes and Autumn Huffman.

Morgan averaged 23.5 points, 4.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 3.4 steals a game as a senior in leading the Lady Black Bears to a Class 2A state runner-up finish.   The 5-foot-6 guard was named the Stillwater NewsPress All-Area Player of the Year and a consensus All-State selection.

Oakes, a 5-6 guard, was an Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State pick after averaging 9.0 points, 3.4 assists and 2.1 steals a game for the Bombers.  She teamed with Huffman, a 5-9 guard, to lead Midwest City to the Class 6A state championship in 2010.

“We're excited to have these three young ladies join our program and look forward to having them with us next season,” Hardaker said.  “They're all outstanding athletes who work hard and they've got a great future with us.”

UCO is coming off its third straight 20-win season, a 22-8 campaign that saw the Bronchos make the NCAA Division II national tournament for the third consecutive year.
