CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (May 11) -- Central Oklahoma's Mari Suursalu received NCAA Division II honorable mention All-America recognition from the National Golf Coaches Association, it was announced Friday.

The freshman sensation was also one of five players named to the All-West Region Team in addition to making the honorable mention All-America list.

Suursalu, a native of Tallinn, Estonia, enjoyed an impressive rookie campaign in 2006-07. She ended the year with a 76.9 scoring average, had six top-five finishes in nine tournaments and placed out of the top 10 only once (13th).

Suursalu was a first-team All-Lone Star Conference pick and also claimed medalist honors at the LSC Championships.
