Hamilton Field House

Central Oklahoma plays all its home men's and women's basketball games inside Hamilton Field House, which opened its doors on Jan. 8, 1965 when the UCO men's team downed intrastate rival Northeastern State 64-52.

UCO's women started playing in the 3,000-seat facility in 1980 and are 166-128 (.565) in 24 years.

The 3,000-seat facility was renamed from Broncho Field House to Hamilton Field House in 1993 in honor of longtime coach and athletic director Dale Hamilton, the driving force in the building's planning and construction.

The facility underwent extensive renovation before the 2001-02 season, with new chairback seats installed around the floor level.

Hamilton Field House is also the home facility for the volleyball and wrestling teams and numerous other events, including the university's graduation ceremonies, are also held in the building.
