The University of Central Oklahoma unveiled the Sports Performance Center in September of 2018, opening the doors to one of the finest athletics facilities in the country.

The Sports Performance Center (SPC) is a hybrid facility that serves the Central Oklahoma student-athletes like never before.

An Academic Center with three study hall areas, a classroom, and a computer lab all inside a wide open massive lounge area for tutoring, studies, advisement, and homework occupy the west wing of the third floor. Opposite the academic center is the Stampede Club, a spacious lounge area for student-athletes as well as booster club events. Within that is a 129-seat theater that can not only show movies, but provides a space for team-building activities of all kinds. Both of these spaces book-end the Stampede Club Deck, an outdoor space where Broncho football fans take in games.

A two-story strength and conditioning area that is home to the most high-tech weight room in the state featuring KONG IQ technology occupies the middle section of the first and second floors. Central Oklahoma has one of the largest weight training areas here.

An enormous athletic training area that includes a nutrition center also features two hydro-therapy pools – one including an underwater treadmill. This space is located on the west side of the first floor.

Five film-study/meeting rooms with advanced technology are also placed on the second floor.

The Central Oklahoma football team calls the SPC home, with coaches offices occupying the east end of the second floor and the Broncho football locker room right below on the first floor. UCO has 125 lockers and a player-lounge area.

Central's athletic administration also houses in the SPC, with the athletic director's office and the administrative staff's offices located on the west end of the second floor.

The SPC is located on the north side of campus, directly north of Chad Richison Stadium.
