Biography

Junior letterman expected to see extended playing time in the secondary . . . Will vie for a starting berth at free safety and should have a big impact.

2009:  Started the first two games of the season and played in eight games on the year, ending with nine tackles . . . Made five tackles with three solo stops in season-opener at Pittsburg State.

SHSU/UNT:   Spent one year each at Sam Houston State and North Texas, redshirting one season.

High School:  Two-sport standout at Ardmore High School . . . All-Region performer in football and All-Area pick on the hardcourts.

Personal:   A human resource management major . . . Married (Mariela) . . . Birthdate is Feb. 22, 1988.
