Senior veteran who gives the Bronchos great experience and leadership in the secondary . . . Three-year letterman who has started most of the last two seasons and will be one of the main cornerbacks again this year, having shown the ability to make big plays . . . Has good coverage skills along with excellent speed and should be a stalwart defender.

2007:  Part-time starter who played in all 10 games, finishing with 36 tackles . . . Had 4.5 tackles for loss, including one sack, and recovered a fumble . . . Had at least five tackles in four games, collecting a season-high seven against Angelo State . . . Made six stops in win over East Central and had five-tackle outings against Abilene Christian and Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Sack came vs. Northeastern State.

2006: Played in all 11 games, recording 57 tackles with three interceptions, 3.5 tackles for loss and a pair of forced fumbles . . . Picked off a pair of passes against Angelo State, returning the second one 85 yards for the game-winning touchdown in the third overtime . . . Added six tackles in that contest to earn LSC North Division Defensive Player of the Week honors . . . Other interception came against Northwestern Oklahoma . . . Made five tackles while adding a sack and a forced fumble against Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Had a career-high nine tackles against Abilene Christian.

2005:  Lettered as a back-up, making 13 tackles and one interception . . . Had five stops against West Texas A&M. 

2004:  Sat out redshirt year.

High School:  Two-way standout at Star Spencer High School, earning District co-MVP honors as a senior . . . Also lettered in basketball and was an All-Stater in track.

Personal:  A criminal justice major . . . Enjoys playing the drums and bowling among his hobbies . . . Has 11 siblings (six sisters, five brothers) . . . Birthdate is Feb. 15, 1986.
