One of the best pure athletes in NCAA Division II, a spectacular all-around player who will be a big-time defensive factor in the secondary this season. . . Hard-hitting strong safety with sprinter speed who provides great run support while also excelling in pass coverage . . . Owns all the physical tools needed to be a dominant force in the secondary and is ready to finish his career with a flourish this fall . . . Should also see action as a kick returner and would be a key weapon in that role . . . Has the ability to take over a game and should vie for a variety of post-season honors.

2004:  Started UCO career in impressive fashion, collecting 12 tackles and forcing a fumble in road rout of Mesa State to earn Lone Star Conference North Division Defensive Player of the Week honors . . Went on to finish second on the team in tackles with 68 -- including a team-high 31 unassisted stops -- while adding four interceptions and six passes broken up in picking up first-team All-LSC North Division acclaim . . . Was LSC North and Football Gazette National Player of the Week against Tarleton State after finishing with 10 tackles, a forced fumble and an interception, tying a school, conference and Division II record with a 100-yard return to cap UCO's 42-17 win over the Texans . . . Also picked off passes against Southwestern Oklahoma, East Central and Northeastern State . . . Blocked punt that led to short touchdown drive in sparking UCO to fourth quarter comeback against ECU . . . Had at least four tackles in all 10 games . . .Finished with eight tackles and added two passes broken up in win over Angelo State and made nine stops against Southeastern Oklahoma.

Juco:  Played two years at Juco powerhouse Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, earning All-Conference honors once.

High School:  Prep standout at Shawnee High School, picking up All-State recognition as a senior . . . Also lettered in basketball.

Personal:  A general studies major . . . Older brother (Seymore) is a senior teammate at UCO. . . Birthdate is Nov. 30, 1983.
