Biography

Team leader and senior veteran challenging for starting berth at second base … Was main starter at first base last year and put together solid season in helping Bronchos reach Sweet 16 … Saw some time at second in 2021 and knows how to play the position … Can also help at first if needed … Fine defender who seldom makes mistakes on the field and also capable of helping out offensively … Came to UCO from Murray State College and saw limited action in 2021 … Played two years at Murray, earning extra year of eligibility when 2020 season was canceled early by international health crisis.
 
2022: Honorable mention All-MIAA selection after hitting .250 with six doubles, six home runs and 26 runs batted in … Drew 23 walks and was hit by pitch 18 times in finishing with .451 on-base percentage … Led the league and ranked 10th nationally in hit by pitch … Ranked second on UCO’s single-season hit by pitch list and is now fourth on career chart with 23 … Reached base in 31 straight games during one stretch … Had six multi-RBI and five multi-hit games … Committed just two errors in 428 chances in finishing with .995 fielding percentage and ended season with 46-game errorless streak.
 
2021: Played in 25 games with 19 starts, finishing with .234 average … Had four doubles and drove in five runs … Made 14 starts at DP, four at second base and one at first … Went 3-for-5 with two RBI and four runs scored in starting both games at second in doubleheader sweep of Arkansas Tech.

Juco: All-Region pick as a freshman after hitting .366 with 10 home runs, nine doubles and 33 RBI … Was batting .421 with five doubles, four homers and 17 RBI in 2020 when season was cut short … Also an Academic All-America selection.

High School: Two-sport star at Dale High School … Earned All-State honors in both fast-pitch and slow-pitch softball and also an All-State basketball pick for the Pirates … Helped lead softball teams to five state championships and hit walk-off home run in state title game as a senior.

Personal: Science major … Older brother (Josh) was a two-year baseball standout in 2018 and ’19 for UCO, finishing with a school career record 24 saves … Enjoys drawing and painting as hobbies … Names Morgan Wallen as her favorite musician … Lists the Chicago Cubs as her top team … Birthdate is May 25, 2000.
