UCO Enters National Rankings

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Central Oklahoma has made its season debut in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25, it was announced Monday.

UCO is ranked No. 25 in the country after an 8-1 start to the season.

Central Oklahoma went 4-1 last week, falling in a five-set thriller at Southern Nazarene. The Bronchos rebounded with four straight wins at Texas Woman's Denton Volleyfest, beating Arkansas-Monticello, TWU, Illinois-Springfield, and Ouachita Baptist.

UCO is playing three matches this week, including the first two of 22 MIAA contests. The Bronchos host Oklahoma Baptist Tuesday at 7 p.m. inside Hamilton Field House. Central will also welcome Newman, Thursday at 6 p.m., and Pittsburg State, Saturday at 6 p.m., in the first two MIAA matches of the 2023 season.
