UCO Wraps Up Regular Season In Kansas

VICTORIA, Kan. – The University of Central Oklahoma finished 15th at the Fort Hays State Invitational Saturday morning in what was the final race of the 2021 regular season.

Central Oklahoma will now turn its attention to the postseason. The 2021 MIAA Championships are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 23 in Kearney, Neb. and the 2021 NCAA Regional Championships are slated for Saturday, Nov. 6 in Joplin, Mo.

Arizona Hummingbird finished 40th overall individually and was 36th among scoring times. The senior finished the 5k race in 19:03.95 to lead the Bronchos.

Harlie Hanson, 20:20.86, was the second Broncho across the finish line. She finished 105th overall and 78th among scoring times.

Layne Nichols (20:56.19) and Shiloh Hutchinson (21:18.85) also scored for the Bronchos, as did Katie McCathern (21:22.70).

Bethany Garrison (21:29.94), Clara Shirley (21:37.17) and Marin Rhodes (21:40.38) also ran for Central.
