Antonella Rossini
SKILLMAN, N.J. (May 1) – Central Oklahoma's Antonella Rossini has been named the Division II Central Region Senior Player of the Year by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, it was announced Wednesday.

Rossini led the Bronchos to a 17-4 record and a berth in the NCAA Division II national tournament this season while playing No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles.

An Argentina native who graduated from Midwest City High School, Rossini started all four years of her UCO career and moved up the ladder in the lineup each season.  She finished with 100 career wins, 53 in singles and 47 in doubles.

“I am so proud of Antonella for earning this great honor,” head coach Natalya Nikitina-Helvey said.  “She really turned into an outstanding player during her four years with us while also maintaining a 4.0 GPA and is a true student-athlete who has been a great role model.”
