RICHARDSON, Texas (Feb. 8) – Dauntae Williams was honored by the Lone Star Conference again Monday when the Central Oklahoma standout was named North Division Defensive Player of the Week.

It's the seventh time this season that Williams has earned player of the week recognition, having claimed the defensive award four times and the offensive honor three times.

The junior guard from Missouri City, Texas had another dominating performance in UCO's only game last week, an 84-50 rout of Northeastern State. Williams had the first triple-double since 1991 for the Bronchos with 10 points, 10 rebounds (eight defensive) and 10 assists while adding three steals and blocking one shot.

UCO is 17-4 on the season and leads the North Division at 6-0, having won 13 straight games for the second-longest winning streak in school history. The Bronchos can tie the record of 14 consecutive wins Wednesday at Southwestern Oklahoma before returning home Saturday to host Cameron.
