Keith Traylor transferred to UCO from the junior college ranks in 1989 and was one of the most feared linebackers in the Lone Star Conference and NCAA Division II during his two-year career with the Bronchos.
Traylor was plagued by injury both years, but still managed to collect 146 tackles with five sacks, nine passes broken up, two interceptions (both returned for touchdowns) and two blocked kicks. He was a first-team All LSC pick in both 1989 and ’90, earned All-America honors as a senior and was a third-round NFL draft pick in 1991 by the Denver Broncos.
Keith played for six teams during an amazing 18-year professional career that ended in 2007. He won three Super Bowl rings, two with the Broncos and one with the New England Patriots.
Traylor was named to the UCO All-Century Team in 2006 and was elected to the Lone Star Conference 75-year Anniversary Team the following year.
