Clinton Jacobson

Clinton "Tip" Jacobson

Jacobson was a four year letterman in three sports -- football (1933-34-35-36), basketball (1934-35-36-37) and track (1934-35-36-37) -- and was a standout performer in all three.

He helped the Bronchos to a 25-11-2 record during his four-year football career, capped by back-to-back conference championship seasons his last two years.  Jacobson was a first-team All-Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference quarterback selection as a senior.

Jacobson was also a two-time All-Conference pick in basketball, earning second-team honors in 1936 and first-team recognition in 1937 after leading UCO to a 16-7 record. He was a sprint standout for the Broncho track team that won three straight conference titles.
