Biography

Junior veteran engaged in tight battle for starting berth at first base … Started first two years at designated player, then took over at second last season after injury sidelined scheduled starter … Left-handed hitter who has played in 118 games with 115 starts the past three seasons … Primed to be even more of an offensive force this spring … Fourth-year junior, retaining year of eligibility when 2020 campaign was cut short by coronavirus pandemic.

2020: Started first two games of COVID-shortened season at first base before moving to second for the final 23 contests … Batted .221 with six doubles … Had two doubles in win over Colorado School of Mines.

2019: Had .318 average with 12 doubles, three home runs and 36 RBI to earn honorable mention All-MIAA honors … Missed eight games midway through the season after having an appendectomy … Had 11 multi-RBI and nine multi-hit games … Put together six-game hitting streak early in league play, batting .444 (8-for-18) with four doubles and five RBI in that stretch … Hit .428 (6-for-14) with six RBI during UCO’s four-game sweep in the MIAA Tournament … Batted staggering .765 (13-for-17) with runner on third and less than two outs … Had .359 average (33-for-92) with runners on base.

2018: Honorable Mention All-MIAA selection after hitting .289 with eight doubles, four homers and 21 RBI … Started in 43 of 45 games played, with 32 of those coming at DP … Also started nine times at third base and twice at second … Had six multi-hit and six multi-RBI games … Put together team-high 13-game hitting streak early in the season, batting .471 (16-for-34) with 11 RBI in that span.

High School: All-State selection as a senior at Owasso High School . . . Named District Player of the Year in her final season after batting .488 with 24 doubles and 47 RBI . . . Also a basketball letterwinner for the Rams.

Personal: Nursing major . . . Father (Shane) played baseball at Northeastern State, while mother (Shanna) was a cheerleader for the RiverHawks . . . Names the Oklahoma City Thunder as her top professional team . . . Lists Rihanna as her favorite musician . . . Birthdate is April 23, 1999.
