Complete The Dream Campaign Receives $1 Million Gift

EDMOND (Jan. 20) – A former Central Oklahoma football player has made an anonymous $1 million donation to the Complete The Dream athletic facilities campaign, it was announced Wednesday.

It's the second major gift in less than three months to the UCO Athletic Department and the third-largest in program history.

"This gift highlights the important link between student success and athletics," said President Don Betz. "This level of support is particularly gratifying as we continue to build UCO's model of academic and competitive success."

"To receive a gift of this magnitude only a few months into our campaign is extraordinary," Athletic Director Joe Muller said. "It represents an exciting and important step in the life of this program. This gift not only recognizes the strength of our program, it supports our vision and desire to elevate Broncho Athletics to a new level in the years ahead. We are genuinely grateful for this incredible support."

The Complete The Dream Campaign is the first comprehensive athletic facilities campaign in school history. Planned facilities include a north end zone complex, an indoor practice facility a new softball stadium and major renovations to other sport facilities.
