Bronchos Visit Central Missouri

Central Oklahoma looks to get back on the winning track this weekend when the Bronchos trek to Warrensburg, Mo. to take on Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association rival Central Missouri.

The teams open the four-game series with a single contest at 3 p.m. Friday before meeting for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday and then closing with a 1 p.m. single game Sunday.

UCO is 10-13 on the season and 6-9 in the league, while the Mules are 12-12 overall and 8-8 in conference action.

The Bronchos, who have won five straight road games, have a .320 team average with a pair of regulars hitting over .370 to lead the way.

Senior Ethan Elroy is batting .380, while senior Josh Ingram is at .372. Junior Isaac Hellbusch is hitting .338 with six homers and a team-high 29 runs batted in.

UCO's team earned run average is 6.12, with junior Daulton Leiker at 3.65 with a 1-1 record and junior Dennis Morelli 2-2 with a 4.62 ERA.
