WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Feb. 4) -- No. 5-ranked Central Oklahoma got back on the winning track here Friday night, taking eight of 10 matches to roll over Central Missouri 28-6.

The Bronchos picked up one forfeit and got a major decision from 184-pounder Tanner Keck in ending a two-match losing streak and improving to 13-4 on the season while staying perfect (33-0) in their all-time series with the Mules.

"It wasn't a bad outing, but it could have definitely been better," UCO coach David James said. "This is the time of year when we need to put points on the board and dominate to get to the next level and we still have too many guys doing just enough to win."

Zach Housley picked up a forfeit at 125 to get UCO started and fifth-ranked Trison Graham followed with a 3-2 victory on 133 on the strength of a third-period takedown. Ky Corley collected three takedowns en route to an easy 9-3 win at 141 to make it a 12-0 lead before UCM got its first win at 149 when Brandon Russow clipped Michael Walkup 6-4 on a takedown in the final seconds.

The Bronchos resumed their winning ways at 157 when sixth-ranked Cory Dauphin pulled out a 5-3 sudden-victory triumph for his 14th win in 15 outings and No. 8 Derrick Adkins used a second-period takedown for a 4-2 win at 165.

Kelly Henderson prevailed 4-1 at 174 and then Keck racked up six takedowns in UCO's most impressive win of night, a 16-4 major decision at 184. Jarrett Edison picked up the last win of the night for the Bronchos, scoring a takedown in each period for a methodical 8-2 victory at 197.

The Mules got their second win in the final match of the night at heavyweight when eighth-ranked Brandon Hayes thwarted freshman Cody Dauphin's upset bid, 3-1 in sudden victory.
